Elegant Blush and Coral Wedding at Pritzlaff Building
When I started working in Milwaukee, I was introduced to a new term – boomerang couples. This is a term reserved for those couples who live somewhere else, but are from Milwaukee and come back for their wedding. It’s quite common up here. Megan and Brad are the perfect example of such a couple! Megan grew up in Milwaukee and met Brad when she moved to New York City. Wanting to tie the knot in her hometown, they became a boomerang couple.
For them the rustic elegance and ideal downtown location of The Pritzlaff Building made it an obvious choice of venue. The day started with a first look at the waterfront with the Milwaukee skyline and Milwaukee Art Museum as their backdrop. From there they came to The Pritzlaff Building for their ceremony and reception.
La Tulipe Floral Design created a lovely ceremony space utilizing buckets filled with baby breath and a gorgeous garland draped arch. The light streaming through the century old windows added some beautiful ambiance.
Following the ceremony, the guests were ushered downstairs to enjoy some Milwaukee favorites prepared by Saz’s Catering. Who doesn’t want to share cheese curds, brats and fries with their family and friends? The couple danced the night away thanks to the Michael Walters Orchestra. Hands down, one of the best weddings bands I’ve ever worked with! Thankfully Lisa Mathewson Photography was their to capture every wonderful moment.
