Whimsical and Elegant Beach Wedding at Palm Beach Shores

There are just some couples I just instantly connect with and who are so obviously in love that you thank your lucky stars that you can be there to witness their ceremony. Rachel and Curt are one of those couples! From the beginning, it was as if we has know each other forever. It made working with them so much fun.

They opted for a whimsical and elegant Palm Beach Shores Wedding. It was beautiful and breezy day…and just a little chilly on the beach. Thankfully, all the guests brought sweaters and shawls to cover up. The couple arrived at the beach with their bridal party in a trolley provided by Sailfish Marina. After the ceremony, the bride and groom stayed on the beach to take some photos while their guests headed to the Palm Beach Shores Community Center for the cocktail hour and reception.

Blue uplighting created a relaxing ambiance. The non-floral centerpieces were beach lanterns filled with sand, seashells and an LED candle atop a burlap runner and surrounded by seaglass. Each place setting was finished with a starfish. The kids table was adorned with shark and seashell chair covers. They had a rice crispy treat cake by Publix Greenwise as the centerpiece surrounded by water themed candy. For the adults, there was an elaborate, color themed candy bar to indulge.

Bassline Entertainment kept the dance floor full all night while Hugo’s Catering kept guests’ bellies full with a yummy dinner. Thankfully Krystal Zaskey Photography was their to capture every wonderful moment.

Venue Spotlight: Harriet Himmel Theater

This month I’m highlighting a beautiful and unique venue that I’m super excited to work with. As a graduate of Dreyfoos School of the Arts, I was around when Harriet Himmel Theater first opened to the public as an event space. My senior prom was held there! On top of that, I love a gorgeous theater and a Harriet Himmel Theater Wedding is truly breathtaking. It has the the elegance of a traditional venue mixed with the drama of a theatre.

Guests begin their journey by entering on the grand staircase outside, which also makes for a lovely sparkler exit at the end of the evening. The theatre itself is surrounded by an upstairs balcony where guests can peer below. The balcony make for a great cocktail hour space with the theatre being the main attraction. With the help of professional light and sound, the theatre transforms to showcase any theme. Ovations!, the on-site caterer, create custom menus to satisfy even the pickiest of pallets. I could go on and on, but you should check it out for yourself. On with the show!

Capacity: 200 Seated Dinner, 400 Theater-Style, and 600 for Cocktail Reception
Cost: $3,800 for the entire space for a four hour event with three hour set-up and one hour breakdown. Additional $1,500 for ceremony

Welcome the Newest Wedding Planner to our Family

Thus far this year has been filled with many surprises for the Majestic Vision team. We have contributed to multiple articles published in a major bridal blogs, had wonderful weddings in both Florida and Wisconsin and welcomed the newest member to our wedding and event planning team! Kristin is a Lead Wedding Planner for The Majestic Vision. She is full of ideas, energy and eager to bring her style to our family.

Though fresh to the industry, Kristin has demonstrated her penchant for events by gaining experience in various internships. From music production to film marketing, she always found herself coordinating events. When not assisting with our events, she works as a talent agent with Boca Talent and Model Agency. She’s already assisted on a handful of our events and was amazing!

Her enthusiasm for planning is obvious and is excited to make dreams come true for our clients. Kristin is a graduate of Full Sail University (BA and MA in Entertainment Business), so she’s a natural fit for our team. I’m pleased to welcome her to our family!
