Simple Waterfront Wedding at Boynton Beach Intracoastal Clubhouse

I have a special place in my heart for young couples, especially when they are in the military. When Kaitlin contacted me, she has already legally married her husband when she was 19 in order to be able to live with him as the Army moved him to Idaho. Now at 20, she was ready to throw a wedding! Though they had a limited budget, we were able to give them a great party.

They had their ceremony on the lawn of the Boynton Beach Intracoastal Clubhouse overlooking the Intracoastal. It was a beautiful day with a lovely breeze.

In the Clubhouse, guests were treated to delicious appetizers, delectable dinner and scrumptious desserts all provided by Cafe Chardonnay. Balsa wood airplanes served as the table numbers and a palm tree filled with starfish emphasized the escort card display.

As this wedding highlights, you don’t need a big budget to have a meaningful wedding filled with elements that are unique to you.

Modern White, Pink and Orange Wedding at Marriott Singer Island

Katharine and Tom’s modern Marriott Singer Island Wedding was laid back affair filled with family and love. It was a perfect day for a waterfront wedding. The vows took place in a white tent on the pool deck of the Marriott Singer Island under a simple and elegant white draped chuppah. The coral bridesmaids dresses provided a lovely pop of color.

In the reception, the crisp white room accented with hardwood continued the modern aesthetic. A square vase filled with peach roses, coral roses, dahlias, alstromerias, herbs and greenery surrounded by two glass goblets filled with white pebbles topped with a succulent beautifully created by Gerilyn Gianna Event and Floral Design filled the tablescape. Floor to ceiling windows overlooking the ocean was the perfect backdrop.

The bride wanted something fun and whimsical for her candy bar to contrast the rest of the reception. So we created a garden themed display complete with jelly bean pond, willow tree and fountain. With cotton candy lollipops, Hershey kisses, various jelly beans and more, no guest was left wanting. Even the groom got in on the action with his groom’s “cake” – a giant, orange gummy bear!

After the reception, Katharine and Tom continued their fun on the beach. Flying a kite and playing with pin wheels. It was great to see them unwind after a truly magical day. Luckily, it was all captured by Robert Madrid Photography and Video Courtesy of Anchor Weddings

Romantic Pink and White Wedding at 32 East

You may remember Alexandria and Rome from their adorable vintage romantic engagement session from a few months ago (Check it out here!). They hosted a Romantic 32 East Wedding in Delray Beach took place last week. It was filled with lace, soft pastels and oh-so-much romance! Only the couple’s closest friends and family were in attendance. The vows took place under a romantic garden arch adorned with hydrangea and roses with soft sunlight streaming through the windows of the upstairs room of 32 East.

Hints of lace added romance to the delicate color scheme of ivory, pick and blush. The bride’s Alfred Angelo lace gown set the tone of the lovely evening. An elegant centerpiece of cream vendela roses, blush tea roses, hydrangea and dusty miller in a satin wrapped square vase created by Orange Blossoms Florals and Event Styling adorned each table surrounded by lace-covered votive candles. Each place setting was embellished with color-coordinating macaroons, pink and lace themed menu cards and programs (both in English and in Portuguese) and ribbon and lace wands. The invitation suite designed by Chirp-Paperie provided the inspiration for all the printed materials.

The scrumptious dessert display was the focal point of the room. A sophisticated ivory on ivory wedding cake and delectable lace accented cupcakes created by The Sugar Monkey were complemented by “LOVE” plates filled with colored M&Ms. No guest was left wanting! It was a truly amazing day all captured by Krystal Zaskey Photography.

After the couple departed from the venue, Petal with Purpose came in and collected all of the flowers. They are a charitable service organization that collects flowers left over from various events and delivers them to area nursing homes, shelters, hospitals and Hospice facilities. We were so pleased to find out that the flowers brightened the days of so many patients at JFK Hospital the day after the wedding.

Elegant Purple and Silver Wedding at Addison Boca

I can only describe this wedding as unique and pure fun! It started with the couple’s choice to use a Native American priestess to perform the ceremony at The Addison. Ashley and Corey have always held the belief that nature heals and that belief aligns with that of Native American culture. The bride’s gorgeous, cascading purple and white orchid bouquet was complemented perfectly by the simplicity of her dress. At the end of the ceremony they released butterflies into the world, taking the love of the couple with them on their journey.

Shades of purple and silver complemented the prevailing theme of nature that was used throughout the décor. A stunning centerpiece of manzanita branches covered in purple orchids surrounded by vases with beta fish and candles showcased the couple’s love for nature on each table. Utilizing a monogramed tree trunk design, menu cards continued the nature with sparkle theme. Purple dreamcatchers and personalized matchboxes adorned each place setting and served as the guest favors. As a bonus, guests were even invited to take beta fish home. Huge hit with the kids!

The cocktail hour and reception offered some unique guest entertainment options – a tarot card reader, a caricature artist and a cigar roller. The guests were excited to take home their personalized sketches that replaced the (almost) wedding staple of a photobooth. Cigars were smoked on the spot with the roller teaching those smoking the proper technique to cut the cigar and smoke. The night was topped with a sparkler exit for the bride and groom. It was a spectacular evening!
