When I was contacted by Janet and David to help them with their destination wedding, they told me all they wanted was a laid back, beautiful affair where they could hop a boat to Peanut Island for some photos. Luckily, hosting a Sailfish Marina Wedding would allow them easy access to Peanut Island, so it was truly a no brainer.
Their ceremony took place on the lawn behind Sailfish Marina’s Buccaneer with the Intracoastal and Singer Island bridge as the backdrop. It was a perfect day for an outdoor wedding – blue skies and a slight breeze to keep guest cool.
After the ceremony, guests were in invited to the Palm Room while the couple took a boat ride to Peanut Island. Gerilyn Gianna Event and Floral Design created a a lovely tablescape using a variety of blue and green floral and containers provided by Janet. A quick trip to Whole Foods provided us with the 8 cakes for the dessert display. Nobody was left wanting! Luckily, Chris Kruger Photography was there throughout the day to capture every fun and laid-back moment.
